Prenatal Yoga

Many expecting moms’ first start their yoga journey by attending prenatal classes, due to its many benefits. If you already enjoy yoga, preggie classes are a great way to continue enjoying your practise in a way that it safe for both you and baby.

Prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Research suggests that it can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies. It can:

  • Improve sleep

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth

  • Decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath

I have completed a ‘Preggie Mama’ training in addition to my 200 hour certificate, and am able to guide expectant mom’s safely through their practise.

1 hour: R500

10 Class package: R4 600. To be used within 3 months.
